It is important to lift heavy things! Lifting is a very good workout for burning fat and changing your body composition. It also prepares you for life, as we never know what situation we may be thrown in. Strong trumps skinny any day!

This workout is the second strength workout I recommend for the week.

Warm-up:
50 pulls on a rower
100 single under jump ropes
50 pulls on a rower
100 single under jump ropes

Dynamic Stretching:
Walking lunges
Walking front leg pulls
Walking side leg pulls
High knees
Butt kicks
Side to side lunges

Lift Sequence:
Front Squat 5×5 – goal is to end with 5 rep max weight
Power Clean 5×5 – goal is to end with 5 rep max weight
Bench Press 5×5 – goal is to end with 5 rep max weight
Kettle Bell Swings x25
